1. Determine location for channel drain 2. Install subfloor andbacker board adhering to local codes 3. Cut hole in floor allowing additional ¼". Allow access to fit and clampno hub coupling. See Fig1 4. Install no hub couplingonto channel drain 5. Apply abeadof silicone caulking to the undersideof tile flange 6. Install channel drain, by attaching no hub coupling to existingpiping 7. Cut your pattern intomembrane 8. Install waterproofmembrane as permanufacturer’s instructions. Adheremembrane to tile flange on channel drain usingmembranemanufacturers recommended adhesive 9. Apply thin setmortar and install tile 10.Once above is completed anddry, install channel draingrate 11.Install grate in channel drainbase. If required, adjust legs ongrate level with tileprofile. Legs extend clockwise rotationor retract counter clockwise rotation. Adjust all legs tobase todistribute grate level evenly onbase. (N/A for JACLO SLIM)
